The number of minors involved in and provoked by drugs in Azerbaijan is not very frightening, police lieutenant colonel Kamala Alakbarova, chief inspector of the Public Security Department of the Baku Main Police Department, Report informs.
The MIA official attributed this to the Azerbaijani people's adherence to national values:
"Because the country is working hard to protect the future of children. There are many factors involved in encouraging students to engage in harmful habits. One of the main reasons is social networks. Recently, there have been cases of drug trafficking on social networks. The law enforcement agencies are concerned about the fact that brokers are encouraging minors to do so. Relevant government agencies are seriously struggling in this regard."
Alakbarova said that the formation of bad habits in schoolchildren is observed from the age of 14.
