The next meeting of the Energy Working Group between Azerbaijan and Hungary is scheduled for 2025, Report informs.
The agreement on the upcoming meeting was reached during discussions between Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, and Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto at the Istanbul Energy Forum.
The meeting focused on several key topics, including gas supply from Azerbaijan, collaboration with Hungarian companies in the oil and gas sector, and the implementation of the Caspian-Black Sea-Europe Green Energy Corridor project. Additionally, the activities of the Joint Venture were discussed.
The participants exchanged views on the current status of the technical-economic feasibility study of the Green Energy Corridor and Bulgaria's potential involvement in the project.
It was noted that international support for COP29's energy initiatives would significantly contribute to energy security and the transition to green energy.
