Azerbaijan will participate in the organization of joint activities in the project of a new power station to be built in Serbia and the creation of a joint working group for this purpose.
Report informs that the head of Azerenergy OJSC Baba Rzayev and Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Finance Minister Sinisa Mali and Minister of Mining and Energy, Dubravka Đedovic held discussions in this regard.
The meeting noted that the relations between the states of Serbia and Azerbaijan are at a very high level and that this cooperation has already turned into friendly relations.
Discussions were also held on the soon implementation of the export of electricity from Azerbaijan to Serbia and the participation of Azerbaijan in the energy corridors that will create new access to Europe.
In the meeting, they also noted the important role of state institutions and companies operating in the field of electric energy in the strengthening of inter-country business relations within the framework of the existing strategic cooperation between the two countries.
