At the 28th meeting of ministers of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) members and non-member countries, Azerbaijan also expressed its support for the decision to increase daily oil production by 432,000 barrels in June, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry.
The ministry stated that in accordance with the quotas set for June, it is planned to increase daily crude oil production in Azerbaijan by 7,000 barrels to 695,000 barrels, and the reduction commitment will be 23,000 barrels.
According to the decision made at the 19th meeting of OPEC + ministers in July 2021, the increase in daily crude oil production with partial adjustments to the base level will be applied from May 2022.
