Fatih Donmez: Turkish natural gas will be available to subscribers from May

Turkish natural gas will be available to subscribers from May, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Donmez said on the air of A Haber, Report informs.

"Certain procedural rules will be implemented. In about a few weeks, from May, we will be able to use our own gas in the kitchen," he noted.

According to Donmez, the production of natural gas is good for both the state and citizens: "We will do whatever is necessary for the welfare of our citizens. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will give good news to the citizens in this regard."

The minister added that despite all the difficulties, the production of Türkiye's own natural gas had been launched.

"The work to discover the new gas fields will continue. We hope to give good news to our people in the future," the minister said.
