The Russian Energy Week forum will begin in Moscow on October 12, gathering over 3,000 participants from more than 70 countries in the Russian capital’s Manezh exhibition center, Report informs referring to TASS.
Russian President Vladimir Putin will traditionally address the forum’s plenary session.
The event’s program includes about 40 events, including panel sessions, international meetings, the 61st session of the CIS Electric Power Council, a conference headlined ‘Territory of Energy Dialogue’ and an annual meeting of the BRICS Energy Research Cooperation Platform.
Among foreign participants of the forum are ministers from Azerbaijan, Algeria, Hungary, Venezuela, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Mali, Myanmar, Belarus, Syria, Sierra Leone, Turkey and Sri Lanka, as well as about 50 ambassadors.
