SOCAR opens filling stations for vessels in Kyiv, Odesa

With the beginning of the navigation season, SOCAR Energy Ukraine, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Ukraine, has launched two oil bunkering vessels - filling stations designed for refueling small and medium-sized vessels, the company said in a message on Facebook, Report informs.

One of the filling stations is located in Kyiv, on the territory of the Muromets park, the second in the Odesa region, in the water area of ​​the Yacht Club Sauvignon.

SOCAR representative office was opened in Ukraine in 2008. In 2009, the company purchased about 20 filling stations of the Tala-Nafta network in the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions, as well as a large oil depot Svitanok in the Odesa region. In 2010-2011, the company took control of the filling networks ONIO (four filling stations in Kyiv and the region) and GFC (Lviv region).

In August 2012, SOCAR received permission from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine to purchase 26 filling stations and one oil depot of the Kalina group. The network operates 63 filling stations in Ukraine, including two oil bunkering operators: "Baku-1" in Kyiv and "Ganja" in Odesa.
