Total Energies: Azerbaijani gas is of great importance

Azerbaijani gas is of great importance in ensuring energy security, Regis Agut, Executive Director of Total Energies for Azerbaijan, said at a conference within the Baku Energy Week, Report informs.

He also stressed the importance of Azerbaijani gas supplies through the Southern Gas Corridor (SGC).

“This forum is becoming increasingly important to join forces for sustainable energy supplies. We remain committed to the Caspian region,” he said, emphasizing Azerbaijan’s role in this issue.

Agut noted that in 2021, the company set its ambitions on relaunching. He revealed Total Energies plans to reach the net zero emissions balance.
