Turkey and BP reached an agreement to “improve” the toll ($0.55 a barrel) for transportation of Azerbaijani oil via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline through Turkey, Report informs, citing Haberturk.
A few months ago, Ankara put forward its demand for increasing the toll. Turkish side said the toll is too low, citing economic and technical aspects.
Sources said the parties agreed to "improve" the toll. However, information about the new fee level was not provided because of the protection of the principles of "confidentiality."
