In connection with the European Championship, the Georgian government will subsidize charter flights in the direction of Germany, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze said at today’s government meeting, Report informs referring to Georgian media.
“We talked about subsidizing air tickets associated with flights intended for participation in the European Championship in Germany. On July 18, 22, 26, matches of the Georgian national team will be held in the corresponding subgroup. It is very important that as many Georgian fans as possible come to these matches,” he noted.
He added that direct flights will be provided to cities such as Dortmund, Hamburg, Cologne and Dusseldorf. Direct flights will be provided for approximately 2,000 fans from Tbilisi International Airport and approximately 1,000 fans from Kutaisi International Airport.
