Azerbaijan and Slovakia may sign Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership

Azerbaijan and Slovakia are considering the Joint Declaration on the strategic partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Slovakia, Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov said at the Azerbaijan-Slovakia business forum in Baku.

According to Report, the minister said important efforts have been made over the past years to strengthen bilateral relations: "Our legal basis has expanded, with 11 documents signed between our countries. Notably, in October 2021, we signed the 'Agreement on economic cooperation between the government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the government of the Slovak Republic,' covering a wide range of areas including industry, construction, transport, logistics, investment promotion, energy, mining, tourism, small and medium-sized enterprises, and agriculture."

Jabbarov also noted that this agreement laid a solid foundation for the economic partnership between the two countries.
