Azerbaijan, WB mull next steps of Country Partnership Framework

The meeting between the Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, and the new regional director of the World Bank for the South Caucasus Rolande Pryce, discussed the next steps for the preparation of the new Country Partnership Framework of the World Bank Group for Azerbaijan covering the period FY2023-2028, Report informs.

The sides also discussed potential future activities of the World Bank in Azerbaijan and the indicative program of investment projects.

Jabbarov congratulated Rolande Pryce and World Bank Country Manager for Azerbaijan Stefanie Stallmeister, on their new positions and wished them success in their activities.

Pryce expressed confidence that the Bank will continue close cooperation with the government in the direction of achieving Azerbaijan's strategic development goals and shared her views on new directions of partnership.
