Azerbaijani PM meets with IFC's Regional Vice President

Today, the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, met with a delegation led by Alfonso Garcia Mora, regional vice president of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean, Report informs.

The meeting discussed the issues related to the implementation of potential projects with the World Bank, including the IFC, in the areas considered a priority for the government of Azerbaijan.

It was stated that the development of a competitive economy and agriculture, as well as the promotion and support of PPP, constitute the main directions of the IFC's activities, and Azerbaijan is interested in continuing cooperation in relevant fields.

The meeting reviewed potential cooperation projects with the World Bank, including the IFC, in a number of areas of mutual interest.
