The total value of transactions on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) for January-May this year amounted to 7.4 billion manats ($4.35 billion), increasing by 7.9% from last year.
Over the past year, the number of concluded transactions has decreased 8.25% to 4,183.
State securities accounted for 4.135 billion manats ($2.43 billion), or 55.8% of the BSE turnover, which is 7.1% less than a year earlier.
The value of transactions in the corporate securities market increased by about 3.05 times to 441.137 million manats ($259.5 million) during the reporting period, and repo transactions went up 24.8% to 2.839 billion manats ($1.67 billion).
