Investment in fixed capital in Azerbaijan amounted to 15,725.9 million manats ($9.3 billion) in January–November 2023, marking a 16.5% growth in comparison to a year earlier, Report informs, referring to the State Statistical Committee.
Over the past year, investments in the oil-and-gas sector increased by 24.7%, and in the non-oil-and-gas sector surged by 12.5%.
During the reporting period, 9,422.3 million manats ($5.54 billion), or 59.9%, were made in production, 5,498.6 million manats ($3.23 billion), or 35%, in services, and 805 million manats ($473.53 million), or 5.1%, in housing construction.
Domestic funds constituted 12,207.7 million manats ($7.18 billion) (77.6%) of the funds directed to fixed capital, and construction and installation work amounted to 11,463.6 million manats ($6.74 billion) (72.9%).
