Memo on creating OTS Central Banks Council signed

As part of the 11th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Bishkek, a memorandum "On the Establishment of the Council of Central (National) Banks of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States" has been signed, Report informs referring to the press service of the Kyrgyz National Bank.

The memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan Melis Turgunbaev, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Taleh Kazimov, Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Timur Suleimenov, Chairman of the Central Bank of Türkiye Fatih Karahan, and Chairman of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan Mamarizo Nurmuratov.

"The establishment of the Council of Central (National) Banks of the OTS member states is aimed at strengthening effective cooperation between central banks, conducting joint consultations and research to exchange experience in monetary policy, financial stability, development of payment systems, financial technologies, and other areas," reads the statement.
