"In January-April, tax revenues increased by 55.2% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 5 bln. 35.4 mln. manats ($3 billion), and the forecast was fulfilled at 150.5%," Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said on Twitter, Report informs.
"As a result of reforms implemented under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev to accelerate the process of economic recovery and further improve the welfare of our citizens, high figures have been achieved in tax revenues to the state budget," he said.
According to the minister, revenues from the non-oil and gas sector increased by 49.7% to 3 bln. 430.2 mln. manats ($2 billion), whilst the forecast was fulfilled at 133.5%:
