US stock market falls on Meta's disappointing profit

The US stock market tumbled during the trading session on February 3 on disappointing reports from the owners of the world’s largest social network Facebook, Report informs.

Meta’s shares fell 26.39% after it announced the first-ever reduction in its customer base.

The NASDAQ high-tech index fell 3.74% to 13,878.82 points, the Dow Jones industrial index dropped 1.45% to 35,111.16 points, and the S&P 500 broad-based index fell 2.44% to 4,477.44 points.
