Vusal Gasimli: Non-oil exports per capita to reach $450 by 2025

The increase in non-oil sector exports from $170 per capita in 2015 to $260 this year suggests that the $450 target could be met in 2025.

Report informs that Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications of Azerbaijan, said this at a press conference following the monitoring and evaluation of strategic roadmaps for the main sectors of the economy for 2017-2021.

"The implementation of strategic roadmaps for 2017-2020 is as follows: 82% for the prospects of the national economy, 80% for the agricultural industry and mechanical engineering, 88% for the provision of affordable housing, 85% for telecommunications and information technology, 77% for production and processing agricultural products, 74% for the specialized tourism industry, 68% for vocational education and training, 91% for utilities (electricity and heating, water and gas), 88% for the production of consumer goods by small and medium enterprises, 69% for logistics and trade, 80% for financial services, 77% for the oil and gas industry (including chemical products)," he said.
