Zakir Nuriyev: Banks should provide green loans

Both the public and private sectors must support attracting investments in Azerbaijan to meet modern challenges related to climate change, Zakir Nuriyev, the chairman of the Public Association "Azerbaijan Banks Association," said at the forum "Green Financing and Sustainable Development" in Baku, Report informs.

He noted that it is necessary to strengthen cooperation with international financial institutions and foreign investors, and banks should provide "green credit" and other climate financing instruments.
