Zakir Nuriyev: Reforms in banking and financial system bearing fruit

The reforms carried out in recent years in the banking and financial system are already bearing fruit, the development of the economy and a stable foreign exchange market are being ensured in Azerbaijan, and people's well-being is improving, President of Azerbaijan Banks' Association Zakir Nuriyev said at an event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.

"Now banks play an important role in the life of every citizen. People use banks, and this ensures both the improvement of their living conditions and the safe storage of their funds. The far-sighted steps of President Ilham Aliyev made it possible to optimize the number of private banks and make their work more coordinated," Nuriyev added.
