UEFA official hails development of football in Azerbaijan

FIFA proposed to protect the interests of all 55 countries, UEFA representative Jozef Kliment said addressing the AFFA Conference.

He expressed hope for the continuation of fruitful discussions and making decisions that would be suitable for all.

The FIFA rep recalled his first visit to Baku 15 years ago, which coincided with the opening of the AFFA office and academy, as well as stadiums.

He said he was amazed at how the country and football developed.

The Slovak official said that development and stability could be used to describe the work done in Azerbaijan, noting that the country restores not only the football infrastructure but also the outdated sports facilities.

According to Kliment, the number of people eager to play football in Azerbaijan has increased.

The FIFA representative added that Qarabag continue their successful mission this year. He expressed confidence that the national teams of Azerbaijan will achieve success and Azerbaijan will reach the peak of football development.
