Ambassador: Azerbaijani citizens come to Kyiv from frontline areas to participate in voting

In Ukraine, Azerbaijani citizens come from the frontline areas to Kyiv and participate in voting at the polling station created in the embassy in connection with the snap presidential elections in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan's ambassador to Ukraine, Seymur Mardaliyev, told Report.

According to him, the station was opened at 8 a.m. (GMT +2). Since the beginning of the election process, voter activity has been constantly observed. Currently, the number of Azerbaijani citizens participating in the election process is not small."

He said that the embassy provided assistance and arranged transport for Azerbaijani citizens living in the frontline region to come to Kyiv: "Our citizens from Dnieper, Kryvyi Rih, and Lviv have already come to Kyiv and participated in the voting. The arrival of our citizens from Kharkiv and Odesa is expected soon. At the same time, Azerbaijanis living in the vicinity of Kyiv will also come to the station in the next few hours."

Mardaliyev said that up to 25% of the voters on the list have already participated in the voting.
