“For 28 years of diplomatic relations, the next anniversary of which we celebrated on June 11, strong traditions of the Belarusian-Azerbaijani partnership have been formed - friendship, respect, and mutual understanding, which have become a solid foundation of relations between the countries,” Ambassador of Belarus to Azerbaijan Andrei Ravkov wrote in an article dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus and bilateral relations with Azerbaijan, Report informs.
The diplomat noted that a high degree of mutual understanding and trust of the two countries’ presidents is the basis of the constructive dialogue between Belarus and Azerbaijan and the dynamic development of cooperation in all areas.
He noted that Belarus and Azerbaijan share common interests on a wide range of issues: “The two countries have many similarities - from interreligious and interethnic tolerance of societies to striving for the dynamic development of sovereign and independent states, building socially-oriented economies, ensuring high rates of economic growth.”
“All this unites us and awakens the constructive interest of the parties in the intensive establishment of dialogue, switching bilateral cooperation to a long-term basis,” Ravkov added.
