Ambassador: 'Those who called Bayraktar a devil in Karabakh, now call it the savior angel of Ukraine'

During the Karabakh war, some forces called Bayraktar unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) devils, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci said during a meeting with students at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, according to Report.

"But now those forces name Bayraktar the savior angel of Ukraine. Of course, such ideas are a manifestation of double standards," he noted.

The diplomat said that national leader Heydar Aliyev's will regarding Karabakh has been fulfilled:

"The role of Turkiye and Azerbaijan at the regional and international level is growing based on strong relations. Delivery of Turkmenistan's gas to Europe via Azerbaijan is the main issue on the agenda. Ashgabat will host a meeting on this issue tomorrow."

The ambassador also said that creating a common Turkic alphabet is one of the issues under discussion.
