Azerbaijan, Greece have huge potential to expand economic cooperation – deputy minister

The potential for the expansion of Azerbaijan’s economic cooperation with Greece is great, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov said at the event dedicated to the National Day of Greece in Baku, Report informs.

Mammadov stated that cooperation in the energy sector is the basis of our bilateral relations: "Azerbaijan is a reliable partner of Europe in energy sector. The meeting of the Azerbaijan-Greece Joint Intergovernmental Commission, which will be held in the near future, opens new perspectives for cooperation.

The deputy minister added that there is cooperation between the two countries in various fields and relations are based on mutual respect.
