Azerbaijan, Latvia celebrate 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations

An event and an exhibition were held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Latvia.

Report informs, citing the MFA, that the leading staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of parliament, employees of the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as other guests, took part in the event.

The event began with the national anthems of both countries.

After the speeches, the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Latvia exchanged congratulatory letters on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

At the end of the event, the participants got acquainted with the exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia.
