Azerbaijan's Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources to visit Pakistan

The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan, Khazar Farhadov, met with the Prime Minister of this country, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

Report informs citing the Azerbaijani Embassy in Pakistan that during the meeting, the Prime Minister of Pakistan said his country attaches special importance to the development of relations with Azerbaijan. He also noted that there are fraternal relations between the two countries.

Sharif congratulated Azerbaijan on its election as a host country for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), which will be held in Baku this November, and said that he was looking forward to meeting the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Mukhtar Babayev, who will visit Pakistan next week to present the official invitation letter to COP29 from the President of Azerbaijan.
