Azerbaijani delegation attending PACE winter session

The Azerbaijani delegation has arrived in Strasbourg to participate in the PACE winter session, Report informs citing a member of the delegation, MP Tural Ganjaliyev.

The delegation is headed by the Chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliamentary Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Ties, Head of the Permanent Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Samad Seyidov.

The winter session of PACE is taking place on January 25-28 in a mixed format - the deputies will be able to participate in it remotely or be personally present in Strasbourg.

During the session, the participants will hear a report on the work done by the Bureau of the Assembly and the Standing Committee. They will also exchange views on the improvement of the monitoring procedure of the Assembly, the results of the parliamentary elections in Georgia, post-monitoring dialogue with Montenegro, ethical, legal, and practical aspects of the COVID-19 vaccine, and other issues.
