The Azerbaijani embassy in Kazakhstan continues to operate normally, the embassy in Kazakhstan told Report.
"As is known, the embassy warned Azerbaijani citizens about the situation in Kazakhstan through the official website and social network accounts and advised them to follow the official information and avoid crowded areas.
The embassy is in contact with the Almaty office, the Consulate-General in Aktau, and diaspora activists. The embassy did not receive any information about the injuries of any of our citizens during the incidents.
At present, appeals from our citizens to the embassy, who are unable to return to Azerbaijan due to the suspension of flights from Kazakhstan to foreign countries, are answered by us; we ask about the state of our citizens, who are addressing us and give relevant information and recommendations.
The embassy continues to operate as usual. Our citizens are asked to contact the embassy via (+7780002838; +7 7172 75 55 27).
Our citizens are asked to take into account that the Internet is intermittent across the country and in some cases communication is cut off," the statement reads.
