Azerbaijani FM discusses normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations with Putin's special rep

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

The officials discussed humanitarian issues and measures to build confidence in the region.

Bayramov informed the Special Representative about the process of normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the post-conflict period.

Mikhail Shvydkoy stressed the importance of Azerbaijan's efforts to ensure peace and security in the region. He expressed readiness to support the implementation of joint activities in the cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The officials also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
