Azerbaijani FM meets OSCE Chairman-in-Office

Within the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Swedish Foreign Minister, OSCE Chairman-in-Office Ann Linde, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

At the meeting, the sides noted that bilateral relations between the two countries are developing in many areas, and there are great opportunities to expand this cooperation.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov briefed his counterpart on the current security situation in the region, issues related to the implementation of trilateral statements, Armenia's violation of the provisions of the tripartite statement of November 10, 2020, and other issues. At the same time, the ministers exchanged views on the post-conflict reconstruction and renovation phase.

The ministers discussed Azerbaijan's cooperation with the OSCE and preparations for the meeting of the OSCE Council of Ministers.

During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on several issues on the bilateral cooperation agenda.
