Azerbaijani lawyer elected member of Turkish Bar Association

Aygun Aliyeva, a member of the Azerbaijani Bar Association, has been selected to the Turkish Bar Association, Report informs, citing chairman of the Bar Association Anar Bagirov.

"Lawyer Aygun Aliyeva is our first member of the Turkish Bar Association. She is currently the only advocate in both brotherly countries.

"It is very symbolic that we have a worthy successor of great Süreyya Ağaoğlu, Turkey's first female lawyer, our Shusha-born compatriot," he stressed.
