Azerbaijani parliament speaker meets with Serbian PM

The Speaker of the Milli Majlis, Sahiba Gafarova, who is on an official visit to Serbia, met with Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, Report informs, citing the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis.

Greeting the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament, the PM said that the relations between the two friendly countries are developing successfully.

She noted that Azerbaijan is a country of great importance for Serbia. "Positive political dialogue and mutual visits allow for further deepening of these relations."

Sahiba Gafarova informed the Prime Minister about the current situation in the region, the large-scale construction and restoration work carried out in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, other issues of mutual interest were exchanged.
