Azerbaijani PM meets with President of Georgia in Tbilisi

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, who is on an official visit to Tbilisi, met with the President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, on December 15, Report, informs, citing Press Service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan.

Asadov conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, to the President of Georgia.

It was emphasized that Azerbaijan-Georgia relations have a broad agenda and successful cooperation in the bilateral format and within the framework of international organizations.

The importance of the visit of the President of Azerbaijan to Georgia in October of this year, as well as the 9th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Georgia held in Tbilisi, was noted.

They discussed the importance of transport and energy projects jointly implemented by Azerbaijan and Georgia.

The sides also exchanged views on the perspectives of cooperation between the two countries at the meeting.
