In Brussels, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and European Union Council President Charles Michel exchanged views on the trilateral meeting to be held today, Report informs, citing the press service of the Azerbaijani president.
“The successful development of relations between the European Union and Azerbaijan was noted at the meeting. Charles Michel recalled his visit to the Azerbaijan Republic. The support of the European Union for the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan was emphasized. President Ilham Aliyev thanked Charles Michel for his contribution to these issues. They also exchanged views on the upcoming trilateral meeting between the European Union, Azerbaijan and Armenia today,” the message says.
A trilateral meeting is scheduled in Brussels today with the participation of President of the Council of the European Union Charles Michel, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
