EU ambassador: Lankaran possesses great potential for cooperation

EU ambassador to Azerbaijan Peter Mikhalko met with representatives of small and medium-sized businesses and farmers, who were trained under the EU-funded AgriVision project.

Report informs that the meeting took place under the frame of the visit of the EU delegation to Lankaran as part of the EU4Lankaran program.

During the meeting, the ambassador noted that "small and medium business is the basis of the economy, in the EU 99% of the economy falls under the share of small and medium-sized enterprises".

Peter Mikhalko added that Lankaran has a huge potential for cooperation, and the EU, in turn, is ready to share the best and most innovative knowledge with this region.

Further, the farmers were awarded certificates for participating in training to improve their skills in agritourism.
