Azerbaijan, as the initiator of the main elements of the peace process with Armenia, is an interested party in establishing peace and stability in the region, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during a meeting with Javier Colomina, the NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia, Report informs.
Speaking about the state of regional security in the post-conflict period, Bayramov drew attention to the fact that Armenia continues to threaten civilians with mines and that this country is rapidly arming itself.
Despite the significant progress on the draft peace agreement, he recalled that there are claims against the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan in the Armenian constitution.
