Foreign Minister: Azerbaijan ready to cooperate with OSCE in post-conflict recovery process

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with OSCE Secretary General Helga Schmidt on the margins of the 28th meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Stockholm, Report informs, citing the Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the new post-conflict situation in the region, the latest regional developments, steps taken to implement trilateral statements, as well as cooperation with the OSCE, the restoration, reconstruction and reintegration in the liberated territories.

At the meeting, Jeyhun Bayramov noted that Azerbaijan attaches importance to cooperation with the OSCE. Giving detailed information about the reconstruction work being carried out by Azerbaijan in the liberated territories, especially in the ecology and environmental protection sectors, Jeyhun Bayramov said Azerbaijan is open to cooperation with the OSCE as an organization with a mandate to assist in the post-conflict restoration and reconstruction process.

The parties also discussed various aspects of the bilateral cooperation agenda.
