During the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister's visit to Tbilisi in September last year, the Georgian side provided additional materials to the other side, according to Lasha Darsalia, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister and co-chair of the commission on delimitation and demarcation of the Azerbaijani border.
Local Bureau of Report informs that Darsalia said the Azerbaijani side was studying these materials.
"We expect a meeting of the commission to be scheduled soon. As for border talks, the process is quite sensitive. The parties approach the issue with great responsibility, in the spirit of the existing relations between our countries. It is a matter of strategic partnership, and we work in this direction. However, each side maintans its firm stance," he said.
The Foreign Ministry official urged to refrain from ill-considered statements regarding the border talks with Azerbaijan. He noted that such information could harm the process.
