French citizens residing in Azerbaijan took part in the voting in the presidential elections on April 10 at a polling station in Baku, Report informs.
“The second round of the French Presidential elections will be held on 24th April to determine who will lead the country for the next five years. French voters in Baku will again be heading to the French Lycée to take part in this key decision,” French Ambassador in Azerbaijan Zacharie Gross tweeted.
After 97% of the ballots were counted, the current French President Emmanuel Macron leads in the first round of presidential elections with 27.6% of the vote. Marine Le Pen comes in second with 23.41%.
