"During the 44-day war in Azerbaijan, the solidarity of the people was powerful. The prompt and detailed coverage of the events by the local media is also welcome," Guram Marxulia, a professor and historian at Sokhumi State University in Georgia, said at a forum on "Youth and Media Support for Peace in the Region" in Tbilisi.
Report informs that, according to him, the young generation in Azerbaijan is brought up in the spirit of patriotism:
"Thanks to its successful domestic and foreign policy, Azerbaijan liberated its occupied territories in a short time. Georgia must also regain its territorial integrity soon. The region needs peace, tranquility, and development. The Azerbaijani and Georgian peoples know very well the value of peace. The countries of the region must further strengthen cooperation to achieve stability and prosperity."
