United Nations Special Envoy for Global Education and former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Gordon Brown as part of the 8th Global Baku Forum has expressed gratitude to the co-chairs and members of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center for their leadership and constant contribution to global cooperation, Report informs.
Gordon Brown stressed the need to put an end to climate change, accelerate economic development, and make efforts to prevent the proliferation of nuclear weapons so that to achieve peace.
Emphasizing the importance of broad, equitable and fair distribution of life-saving vaccines, he noted that this is a solution to the current global crisis.
People must try to prevent a shortage of vaccines in one part of the world. Vaccines must not go unused, the former prime minister added.
