Head of Tatarstan: 'We sincerely admire Azerbaijan's success in all areas'

Excellent relations have developed between Tatarstan and Azerbaijan, and they continue to develop and expand, the President of the Tatarstan Republic of the Russian Federation, Rustam Minnikhanov, said on the sidelines of the VIII Kurultai-Congress of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation, Report informs.

"We have excellent relations with Azerbaijan. We admire the success that Azerbaijan has achieved in all areas - economy, construction, modernization," he said, commenting on bilateral relations.

The head of Tatarstan noted Azerbaijan's historic victory in the Karabakh war.

"You have solved a historical problem, [previously occupied] lands have returned to Azerbaijan. The victory of the people of Azerbaijan and President Ilham Aliyev shows that the country is on the rise, and we are sincerely happy to cooperate," said Rustam Minnikhanov.
