Honorary Consul: We’re clarifying number of Azerbaijanis living in Kharkiv

The Azerbaijani Consulate in Kharkiv continues to work as usual to provide assistance to the citizens of our country, Honorary Consul of Azerbaijan in Kharkiv Afgan Salmanov said.

Report quotes him as saying that, according to him, the consular staff is currently working to determine the number of compatriots in the consular service area through various channels.

According to Afgan Salmanov, the consulate is in constant contact with the Azerbaijani embassy in Kyiv and the Foreign Ministry.

“I would like to note once again that in connection with special cases, our citizens can contact the Honorary Consulate in Kharkiv by phone (+38057) 7000531 and by e-mail [email protected],” the message says.

The military-political situation in Ukraine has escalated since February 24. Military operations are being conducted in many regions of the country. The city of Kharkiv is located near the scene of hostilities.
