"We will continue to stand by our Azerbaijani and Libyan brothers and support them in their just struggle," Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said at the opening ceremony of the Naval War College of the National Defense University for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Commenting on the armament of the government in Greece and the Greek part of Cyprus, the Minister said:
"Greece and Greek Cyprus have recently fallen in love with rapid armaments by the encouragement and provocation of some countries. Look at math, history. In this way, give up your ideas of superiority over Turkey. The Greek economy is well known. This country is in debt. Their love of armaments will put the country's economy in a difficult situation by entering into greater debt."
