“The friendly, brotherly and allied relations between Azerbaijan and Turkiye have always been close,” Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, said at a joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkiye, Mevlut Cavusoglu, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, Report informs.
“The 44-day Patriotic War was a manifestation of the brotherhood between the two countries. The political and moral support of Turkiye was too important,” the minister said.
He stressed that the Turkish companies have been involved in the process of restoration of the liberated territories since the first day: “The historical Shusha Declaration was signed in the context of the new realities in the region. We can talk for hours about Azerbaijani-Turkish relations. Today I discussed a number of issues with my dear brother. They are related to the implementation of a number of documents and agreements.”
