I informed my colleague about the latest situation in the region, the work done by Azerbaijan in the post-conflict period, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov said at a briefing held on August 10, together with Ramtane Lamamra, Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Special Representative of the President Abdelmajid Tebbou.
"I briefed my colleague about the reconstruction works and the return of former internally displaced persons to Karabakh. Last month, our first IDPs returned to Aghali village of Zangilan district, which was freed from occupation. I think this is the beginning of a big return," Bayramov noted.
At the same time, Jeyhun Bayramov informed his Algerian colleague about ongoing processes between Azerbaijan and Armenia, including the non-constructive policy of Armenia.
The FM also spoke about the demining operations taking place in the area.
