Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with his Hungarian counterpart Peter Szijjarto within the 29th Meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's MFA.
According to the information, the sides expressed satisfaction with the strategic level of relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary, the expansion of bilateral and regional ties in several directions on a mutual basis, and the increase in high-level dialogue and mutual visits.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized that some projects are being implemented between the two countries in political, trade-economic, energy, agriculture, culture, and education fields. Common interests in further deepening of relations in various directions were brought to attention. The parties also agreed to continue positive dynamics of cooperation within the framework of multilateral cooperation platforms, including the Organization of Turkic States.
Bayramov informed his counterpart about the normalization process of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations and the large-scale restoration and construction works carried out in the liberated territories. Azerbaijani minister expressed gratitude for Hungaria's intention to contribute to efforts in the liberated territories.
During the meeting, the sides discussed other topics of mutual interest and decided to continue contacts on all possible platforms.
