Jeyhun Bayramov meets with Somali Foreign Minister

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Somali Foreign Minister Mohamed Abdirizak as part of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum.

Report informs, citing the Foreign Ministry, Bayramov briefed the other side on the situation in the region after the 44-day war.

In this regard, the Minister touched upon the visit of the non-resident Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Azerbaijan Jama Abdullahi Mohamed to the de-occupied Aghdam region on June 13 as part of his visit to Azerbaijan.

Bayramov stressed that Somalia has always supported Azerbaijan's just position based on international law.

The ministers discussed cooperation within international organizations and stressed the importance of high-level visits between the two countries.

The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
